Stranded Near Southwark

It had been a rather quiet day in the radio rooms despite it being one day before our final live show as G Radio due to take place tomorrow. I'd spent most of it putting together or attempting to put together the request packages until I was asked to go and help Denis to test the Scoop at the Imperial War Museum, quite a way down from the Harrow campus.

It took quite a while to get it working due to the batteries being misplaced and confusion on operating the LCD panel, but despite us not being able to get a signal in the museum itself we managed to stay on the line a few metres outside and are more or less confident that we can proceed with the O/B tomorrow that the ever reliable Stewart will be looking after with Sarah presenting. This will be for an item based on a James Bond exhibition at the museum although how it will adapt a gay angle I don't know.

I'm back safely in Harrow now where it's more or less very busy with people trying to get features done ahead of the show and a lot of people trying to get into the studios to record things. There's also a bit of general messing about with the likes of Lottie and Sophie pushing people around and carrying them around RP1.

However despite the distractions I've got all my pre-recorded packages sorted and plan to spend tonight at the Undercroft where Mattie from "You Heard It Here First" will be DJing.
I'd imagine that "Hey Boy Hey Girl" will be one of the tunes played.
