The good news is that I can't see many people celebrating Valentine's Day
on Facebook with poncey statuses or whatever.
They've all caught on to the fact that it's just an excuse to give
Clinton's some undeserved extra cash.
So yes it's just a normal Sunday.
Well not for much longer as Terry Wogan's new show started on
BBC Radio 2 this morning and save for a few technical mistakes
it was superb, a pleasant return to a "music hall" style show
with an audience adding to proceedings.
Best of all (from my perspective anyway) the master of the airwaves
has brought JAM back to Radio 2 with a specially produced custom
jingle that fits in well with the house band theme from Elio Pace.
And here it is;
Westminster alumni Ricky happens to be one of Terry's "Best Boys"
and I'm looking forward to hearing it progress over the next few weeks.
To sum it up, it sounds like what seems to be his radio show
and his BBC 1 chat show rolled into one with live guests and the
"popular" Janet and John stories.
I'd best get over to the bowels of Eliot College.
I may record an Audio Boo up there if the studio's empty.
