"Twee Club"

Glee and The Cleveland Show were rather average this week.

The animated offering may be just an individual weak spot, but Glee's been
going for about 7 episodes now and I've started to notice a few
recurring themes that are guaranteed to happen in every single episode.

1: A leader of another club or society will attempt to dismantle the glee club.

2: One of the members will quit only to rejoin at the end of the episode.

3: Sue Sylvester will have a lapse of being nice before turning nasty again.

Definitely a risk of the series becoming very repetetive and I'm pretty
certain that it will fall into the category of many drama series I've
watched on television, I.E. failing to even take notice of the second season.

The only exception of course being the most recent series of Doctor Who,
yet I still haven't seen series two or three of The Sarah-Jane Adventures.

Hopefully persoanl circumstances will have changed by the time
season two of Glee airs on UK shores.

Thankfully I can escape from that for the rest of tonight
by listening to another GRP Compilation with offerings from unfamiliar names
such as Spyro Gyra, Patti Austin, Dave Valentin and The Yellowjackets.

Early 90s jazzy synth rhythms at their finest.

With real instruments thrown in as well mind.

Good Night.
