Being half asleep first thing in the morning messes with the mind
to a dreadful extent.
I.E. thinking you have an interview with a music promotion company
for a potential job opportunity.
It's going too far now but I am hopeful that this is just how things
are at this time of the year when things are never steady.
Around March they always start to pick up although, not following an
academic structure this time round does raise questions.
My plan for today involves yet another full re-viewing of
a Look and Read "serial" if you can call it that, "Badger Girl"
which I don't think I've seen since we saw it in primary school.
Originally made over 25 years ago, it's about two children
Debbie and Kieran who are lucky enough to be chosen by their
school to leave the city and spend a week in Dartmoor.
Debbie's not so keen as she is concious about missing the luxuries
of city life including "Space Invaders".
At the time I had no idea what that meant and wasn't
really as clued up on arcade machines from yesteryear.
Overall I'm looking forward to revisiting this and hearing
Derek Griffiths' vocals once again.
I'd imagine he's still doing stage roles these days.
Nothing better than an intoxication of "Magic E".
