Good morning.
As expected, Chris Moyles has been laying into last night's Brit Awards
and have pretty much nailed all the flaws that everyone else has
been thinking.
I.E. getting the recipients of one award to present the next award,
and how rubbish the Mastercard sponsor idents with Pet Shop Boys
were.
Chris also got it right on target when mentioning that there were
no proper stings for the show itself which has been the case
for a few years but a more than evident case that ITV really
want to rush the whole fucking thing, that they take
away any minimal use of identity.
They were also trying to defend Peter Kay's gags dying
on their rear by saying that the venue itself of Earls Court
was too big to hear people laughing.
Michael McIntyre and Lee Evans have had sell out gigs at the 02
and Wembley Arena, so that pretty much defeats that excuse.
Thankfully I didn't see what was apparently the shambles of the
ITV2 sister show that took place last night with one of the Appleton
sisters and Melanie Blatt from All Saints as roving reporters.
Thankfully it's out of the way now although it will still be a loss
of sleep to a few others unimpressed with certain results.
My urge to get an iPod Touch (at least) is getting closer with the
addition of the Voiceover Man Pocket Announcer application.
With the voice of Peter Dixon, I cannot see any obsessive radio
fan wanting to be without this toy.
It now appears that the novelty iPhone apps have managed to
make the "Mr T In Your Pocket" and it's many variations look
like the Nintendo "Game and Watch" toys.
In fact I wouldn't be surprised if a more advanced product
has developed after buying my iPod touch.
