Another bugbear has prevailed although I should know a thing or two about
getting worked up about nonsense after yesterday.
A thread on Digital Spy prompted this, and although it's a recurring
topic it's one that relates to one of the most ridiculous laws regarding
the PRS and radios being forbidden in the workplace or office space.
One part of me says that if they want to lose even more money
in addition to the lower CD sales, then that's the right way to go
about it.
But the other half would condone the ban of radios in a workplace
full on because I wouldn't want to be subjected to repetitive crap
and the same records being played every single day.
Especially if it was from a commercial station that only has three
CDs, i.e the latest NOW CD, a 90s compilation, and an 80s compilation.
Or so it seems.
Thankfully it appears that a lot of offices are becoming more liberal
with regards to using earpieces in computers provided it doesn't
affect the job in hand.
That more or less confirms that I'm a music lover and not a radio
lover when it comes to present day listening habits.
Talk about contrived, but it's very true.
Those who follow me on Twitter will know about my latest obsession
which turns the above statement around as it is radio related,
that being Tina Daheley, the new sportsreader on The Chris Moyles Show.
I'll let her off for being an Arsenal supporter.
According to BBC Radio Kent's Andy Garland, she managed to beat
off one of their own, Gemma who got into the top three.
I'd best get on with the editing that Dad's left, and as mentioned earlier
I'm so grateful that he doesn't have the abilities to do so himself.
