I've had a thought about it and I'll give in and head over to the CSR meeting
tomorrow evening.
There may be a few things about station events that may be worth
participating in and just making my time her in Canterbury that extra
better by 2%.
And I will definitely suggest a more coherent e-mail circulation.
Tonight however is the night that in terms of television I look forward
to the most and the good news for all the cynical lot is that I'd go
as far as saying more so that Glee on a Monday.
Yes Mock The Week takes to the airwaves again where one of
the guests tonight will be Stuart Francis who should be good value
with his dry Canadian wit.
And to follow from the comparison I made last week, if you've
had a bit to drink before the show, I dare you to perform
the Hand Jive from Blockbusters whilst the opening titles are playing
as seen in the example above.
I'm still 100% certain that "News Of The World" was the inspiration
for the popular quiz show and if you listen to the Jam track in full
the guitar riff at the beginning is very identical melodically.
I have tried the "routine" myself (unsurprisingly) and it is possible
to do it in full by being able to clap in rhythm to the last four notes.
On another note and a possible Richard Herring reference, Bob Holness
used to come in for criticism over his hand movement to say goodbye
looking like a Nazi salute. (0.25)
Fortunately I'm trying to be careful with my booze mainly for
monetary reasons so I doubt I'll indulge in such "choreography".
