The rest of yesterday's broadcasts went superbly with a team effort throughout. I made quite a few appearances, first of all giving Chris Jones a hand as the first guest presenter of his show where I was subjected to making a hat out of the arts and crafts box he had brought in for his Art Attack based feature. Straight after that it was down to the Undercroft where I was the O/B presenter for Goodlass and Marshall who got me to try a few things I wouldn't normally be seen drinking including a slippery nipple shot. Ugh.
My DJ set went pretty quickly and by 11pm Band-E-Oke was in full flow. A few people went up to the mic for more than their fair share including Chris Jones and Pippa C, whilst I went up twice; first of all for a solo performance of "Song 2" and a duet with third year student Ben on "Fight For Your Right To Party". Rather embarrasingly Steve and Ina went up for an impromptu performance of "Happy Birthday" just after midnight which made me feel too nervous to look them in the eye! However the highlight had to be a very raucous rendition of Rage Against The Machine's "Killing In The Name Of" which didn't go down too well the the bouncers.
The bar stayed open for an extra half hour this week until 2:30am and overall it was a brilliant night with a superb turnout. And in addition to that I've found out that my laptop has been repaired so when I've got the chores for today done I'll see what I can do about getting the delivery sorted. And maybe get some extra shut eye as well as I'm a bit rough this morning.
