Another miserable morning but I'm still in a pretty good mood. I'm spending the majority of the day putting stuff onto CD/DVD-R to give me more room for my videos that I'm going to be recording for most of this week off BBC Four whilst listening to the 10 Hour Takeover.
Dick and Dom kicked it off in their usual style with tracks such as "No Limits" by 2 Unlimited, "Killing In The Name" by Rage Against The Machine (the radio edit obviously) and PJ And Duncan AKA's "Let's Get Ready To Rhumble". However on a low note the pretenders to the throne for the first hour revealed that this week they would be recording their own pilot for a Saturday night series on BBC1 which could be worrying. Hopefully they'll keep the creamy muck muck to a minimum.
They've just finished playing Meat Loaf's "Bat Out Of Hell" which thankfully included the intro that's normally edited out but for me it's the only decent bit of the song.
Whilst you get a few novelty choices it gets annoying when people request records that are currently in the chart such as "Umbrella" by Rhianna. Then again I've normally been tounge tied when in the position of making a song request so I can't complain.
