I also spoke to Chris from first year radio who's taking it easy back in Kings Lynn. He'll be returning tomorrow and I hope he'll be in a happy mood for the end of the semester. Apparently he's going to be helping one of his mates out who does a breakfast show in the Fens who may progress to Kiss 105-108 the regional dance station for East Anglia.
This prompted me into remembering the station it took over from, Vibe FM which I loved listening to whenever I visited my relatives in East Anglia from the late 90s-early 00s. However after they re-branded to "Non Stop Vibe" and dropped the weekend disco shows in mid 2001, my visits East became less regular.
I wouldn't mind taking a visit back sometime this summer, especially as I haven't been to see my Granny in Woodbridge for 3 years after we celebrated her 70th birthday.
Whilst it's nice to get away from the radio rooms, the last week can't really escape the mind so below are a few photos of the stuff I and a few others got up to. Thanks to Ina for taking the photos!

Looks like Aoife wasn't enjoying the company of the table either.
I'd say she's the saving grace! Well towards the left of me anyway.
