Today's certainly seen a few improvements and progression. I've managed to arrange quite a lot of interviews with teachers, parents and a teenager with Asperger's Syndrome for my podcast assignment which will be taking place throughout next week meaning that I'll be staying in Canterbury until Tuesday and heading back up here on Thursday to get the rest of my interviews done. Finally things are starting to progress!
I've also been rather productive with other things as well and after just about a year of waxing lyrical about other people's uploads on Youtube, I have a few of my own to offer.
The first one is a very poorly done remake of a scene from Rain Man which I did as part of a module on my AVCE Media course at Canterbury College in 2002. I play the part of the main character whilst Lee one of the other students on the course plays his brother Charlie. As the case normally is, I end up being the straight man alongside Lee who at the end of the course ended up winning an award with me for the best double act. I really don't know why that came about but if it entertained everyone else then I can't complain.
I've also put a short montage of Venice which I did as part of an editing exercise two years later on my HND course consisting of various shots taken by me on my visits to the Venice Film Festival. It's a bit tounge in cheek in places but overall I just saw the exercise as an excuse to put the images I recorded with the music I was listening to whilst in the beautiful city.
Expect further nostalgia from my VHS mountain pretty soon including an excerpt from a Doctor Who fan visiting the location of what was supposed to be "Shada" but ended up in "The Five Doctors". Cambridge to be more precise.
