More Softer Settings

Well the quilt covers of my bed anyway, I'm back in Canterbury still without my glasses so it looks as if on Monday I'll need to buy a new pair. Looks like it will be a case of going to Iceland to buy most of my wares until the end of semester to keep money stable.
I've brought quite a few things back to Canterbury, some of that dreadful tasting easy cook rice from the ASDA in Wembley just to see if it tastes as vile back here as it does at the flat as I'm very suspicious about the difference between cooking equipment in both places.

I've also taken back the majority of DVDs of The Chart Show sent to me a couple of weeks ago as I see them as a reward for getting past this gruelling semester in a months time.
Speaking of which they showed the 1997 special on The Vault this morning which I didn't actually see but years ago I used to have on VHS, where the Worst Video of that year was Vanilla with "No Way No Way" (mahna mahna!). Funnily enough after that edition was broadcast the record shot up into the top 20 and became commonplace in my sister's then newly brought CD player.

We'll be heading into A.S.K. in an hour or so but for now I'm rather happily listening to Mike Howard's Superior Rhythms Show on Starpoint Radio. One quite a few DJs to jump ship from Solar to Starpoint since the studio relocation, nothing's really changed overall and it looks as if I'll still have somewhere to give me ideas for what to play on my own show. After all I'll always be an amateur learning from the pros.
