Prehistoric Purility

Not so long ago I heard Steve, a fellow Welsh radio student refer to a series that shown in Wales on S4C called Gogs, a claymation about a stone age family with rather vile habits.
This was broadcast to the rest of the UK as part of BBC 2's Christmas schedule in the mid to late 90s and now I've found it on Youtube of all places.
Some of the scenes are rather revolting but at the same time side splitting in what could be a more genuine perspective of how people survived in the Stone Age with the attention to detail being very accurate for obvious reasons.
The best part of it had to be the closing theme which is included in a short little montage made up of the baby's scream set to what is actually a rather groovy tune!

I'm not sure if it's just me but the baby's voice (especially its wail) sounds very similar to Daisy Dare, one of the character in the ITV series Zzzap! which involved a comic coming to life made specifically for death and hard of hearing children.
Certainly one of the finest creations to come from the unsung hero that is Neil Buchanan.
