It's official, we are now trapped up in the radio studios. We've been told by Ricky that due to security rules we aren't allowed to leave the studios unless we don't want to leave the building for the rest of the night. It's going to be pretty tricky but I'm loving what we're doing as far as the broadcast's concerned.
I'm slightly tipsy as I've had a few VKs at the Undercroft trying to wash away the woes of today's election outcomes but I've got all the records sorted out for the show tonight which is less than 6 hours away but we've got digital TVs built into the computers in the radio rooms so we can see what the guys on television are up to. I've just managed to witness Peter Kay and Matt Lucas's rather amusing interpretation of the Proclaimers "500 Miles" performed before an audience of cult figures including the Krankies, Johnny Ball, Rod, Jane And Freddy and Frank Sidebottom who will be making a few appearances on my show tonight!
I've brought my duvet up to RP1 and it appears I'm not the only one as Tudor's brought his sleeping bag! Chris and Pete have also ordered a few pizzas which I'm hoping they will share as I haven't had a proper meal since last night.
Expect another update in the few hours which may consist of more of the same.
