I had a bit of a lie in this morning after being woken by the fire alarm at around 5am. Having no motivation to continue with my Media Events essay I went into Harrow and ended up buying a new mobile phone, a Nokia 1600 which set me back £30. Luckily my SIM card for my old phone fitted into the phone so my number hasn't changed and I'll try my best not to get it battered and bruised like my old phone.
I'm now up in M-Block where James is doing his Crossway show live and I plan to clear my hard drive by burning stuff onto CD-R. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll be in a better mood to get the essay done although that's more likely to happen tomorrow morning even if it does eat into my Media Technology lecture. I've had a text from Goodlass confirming the line up for Monday and it looks as if I have to sort out 90 minutes of music to play tomorrow night. I really hope they've got decks sorted out after the break in a couple of weeks ago but if the entrance has to resort to the "one in one out" policy by the end of the night then I'll be happy.
