"I Won't Wish You Luck As It's A Waste Of Time..."

Ugh, I thought I'd over slept this morning until realising that I'd accidentally set the time on my clock an hour later whilst asleep. Luckily everything's back on course and I've managed to get my Media Events essay completed and ready to be handed in tomorrow. Now all I've got to write is my proposal for the second essay which is my analysis of an event of my choice and I'm going to be rather unoriginal and propose an analysis of the television coverage of Live 8 as I've still got it on VHS back in Canterbury with "memorable" moments such as Robbie Williams trying to chat up presenter Fearne Cotton.

After sorting the essay out I decided to indulge myself with last night's episode of the Crystal Maze shown on Ftn where the team ended up with only 5 seconds in the Crystal Dome. They weren't horrendously useless but they ended up buying out three contestants who got locked in including a very poorly explained challenge involving the handling of a perspex box and keeping it level in order to avoid switching the red lights on, resulting in an automatic lock-in which wasn't mentioned beforehand.
The show also contained an appearance from "Mumsy" in the Medieval Zone who was a rather saucy character appearing throughout Richard's time on the show, and on Ed Tudor Pole's first programme was seen on a motorbike departing with the outgoing host. Not forgetting the equally desirable "Auntie Sabrina" from series 3.

I love how televison game shows each have their own quirks and with the Crystal Maze it's Richard O'Brien's tendancy to get out his mouth organ at regular intervals whilst the contestants are in a tense situations. I'm surprised no one's ever been irritated to lash out at him with his rather steely persona.
