There's no better way in such tense situations than to put anxieties to one side and let you hair down. Well it was quite tricky in doing the latter as it was the Hat Party at Northwick Avenue where housemates, Jess, Linzi, Ashlea and Hannah had all donned coned shaped party hats although at least two of them were wearing baseball caps by the end of the night.
Also there were Pigeon from the Uni Hockey team, Natasha who had a lovely pink hat and we even had a few first years turning up later on including Mike who was dressed up in that infamous Bo Selecta Craig David mask although he ended up taking it off as a result of being unable to drink with it on! Nana was also there who had just turned 19 and it appears that herself and Phil Harris will be having a do at Flat 68 this coming Monday.
Quite a few pink flyers were being passed around urging people not to vote for Salima in next weeks elections which resulted in the majority of the flatmates begging everyone to vote for Martin who happened to be present at the party itself. He wasn't the only one around running for a postion as Phil Medway was also present giving out flyers to vote for him to get the role of VP activities although both candidates are going to have to do a hell of a lot to get the people in Central to vote for them.
However all this will be put to one side for a couple of days as I head back to Canterbury this weekend although it looks as if we'll be one down for our visit to the ASK restuarant tomorrow as Kate's double booked herself. For now though I'd best sober up after drinking the Blueberry Breezers I downed tonight as nobody else will supply them at any do I go to!
