Just before leaving Uni last night Ross T pointed me in the direction of a video of his appearance on MTV's Bust A Move from January last year.
This is funny for all the wrong reasons as it's typical of a teen transformation show that are dominant on the station. The set up involves Ross attempting to become a Bhangra Dancer to relenquish all assumptions from other students that he is "boring". Never mind boring, it's more a case of embarrassing with a heavilly set up routine to surprise everyone at the Refreshers Ball leading to some rather amusing reactions particuarly from flatmate Tom Levinge who presents Ross with a bottle of champagne towards the end.
However it now seems that most of the other students in my year doing radio have now caught the bug that Ross was suffering from as hardly any of them were out at the Undercroft last night. Then again the place was pretty rammed as it was by midnight and I was feeling a bit queasy at times but recovered quickly.
I'm a tiny bit worried about tonight as I need to give a few people a hand pre-reccing a show that needs to go out at 11pm tonight but want to get over to the Undercroft to see the Drama Society's rendition of "The Vagina Monologues" which starts at around 8 or 9pm. I'm praying to God that the both studios won't be needed as I very much doubt that Josie and Tudor will be able to cope using the joke of a radio studio that is Studio 4.
