Podcast Procrastinating

Rather unusually for a Sunday the radio rooms are full of students. Most of them being first years who are recording and editing audio for their features that are due in by tomorrow. As well as answering quite a few vox pops questions for them I've been going through the shows from Friday and finding audio to be put in the Red Nose Day podcast which should be online by tonight. Phil Harris is rather keen for me to put in his link after playing Justin Timberlake's "What Goes Around Comes Around" to which he responds "a boomerang?".

As for the podcast I've got to submit in a couple of weeks, I am stumped. I really hope Sue at CANDA is available tomorrow to help me find a way to go about this task although it's ridiculous as I could base the podcast on anything at all but it's making the content interesting for three 5 minute episodes that I'm nervous about. When Dan P came in on Friday to talk about his podcast which he produced for Jamie Oliver he showed some of the video that was recorded to supplement some of the audio and Matthew joked about adding something to the brief requiring us to make video podcasts as well! That I wouldn't mind too much but on a similar note it's not really fair that TV students only have to write 1000 words for their critical reports and we have to have 3000-4000 words in ours. And they're only worth 10% as well.

Anyway it's best to balance anxieties with fetishes at times like this as tonight they're showing the 1989 grand final and 1990 series premier of the Krypton Factor on Ftn. As I've said before no time like the past.
