The Spaghetti Cellar

A.S.K. went pretty quickly as arrived there at 7 and got back from there at 8:30 but it worth the visit and as always was the case I went for a delicious Penne Polo De La Casa. In fact Olly pointed out that everyone ordered exactly what they had last time despite himself making constant promises of ordering a pasta dish every time we go there. We were sat in the cellar of the restuarant which was not as relaxed as the other parts but it made it a bit more interesting and reminded me slightly of Cafe Maruesque another restuarant in Canterbury which is underground.

Elsewhere it's not been too different to an average night in halls except that the bed's more comfortable of course. And in my continuing lapses of escapism I stumbled across an episode of Superted which seems to have even more charm than it did when watching it at an early age with the very witty characters. I'm certain that Skeleton was inspired by Larry Grayson with Melvin Hayes providing the voice along with the late Jon Pertwee adding the clumsy charm of Spottyman. The best part overall is the closing theme tune which has to be one of the best children's animation themes that springs to mind and reeks of the late 80s, having had it on an audio tape released by the BBC which also had Doctor Who and Jim'll Fix It amongst other gems.
And I've finally managed to work out what S4C actually means from the caption at the end!
