A very exhuastive second half of day is almost nearing an end and I need to get some shut eye before embarking on my interviews tomorrow. At around 5 this afternoon I got a call from Atilla mentioning that himself and the rest of the International team were caught up in all sorts of other business meaning that they wouldn't be able to do their show tonight so I headed back from radio to my room in halls to prepare a playlist for an extra hour for my own show tonight.
It didn't go too badly although I rushed my links at times which at one point resulted in me mentioning Belinda Carlisle when I least expected it!
However things should return to form next week when the Smoke International team are doing their final show for Smoke Radio as Fabian's heading back to Germany next month and the dissertation deadline is getting closer.
I've also heard that Chris from the first year is looking after the running of the Undercroft night next week with all the station managers up in York for the SRA conference and I'll be spinning the discs as usual. Actually I need to buy a few more CD-Rs as I've used up all the ones on my spindle. Tudor's also going to be there making his debut on the decks and hopefully we'll be able to get a few more involved towards the night itself.
It looks as though I'll miss the Foam Party on the final Thursday however, partly because it's a bit steep but also because I may be asked back to ASDA the next day as I put that date on my letter I sent a couple of days ago. However I need to be back in London by the 28th as the rent's due in by then as are all the essays a few days after.
If the interviews are completed succesfully tomorrow then I'll make a start on putting the podcast together by recording a few links. It may be useful to add some additional content rather than just use interviews but as long as it fits within the given lengths of time I'll be happy.
