Action Stations!

Here's a perfectly good example of how to ruin a classic children's theme tune.
The opening of the "modern day revival" of Fireman Sam which has more or less given the tune the Bob The Builder treatment.
Thankfully I've found a series of spoofs going by the name of "Arson Sam" involving the Welsh firefighters in reverse starting the fires rather than fighting them with a very witty take on the theme tune with rather crass lyrics.
The fire brigade were probably the first on children's television to actually extinguish fires as the creators of Trumpton found it too difficult to design fires for Pugh, Pugh etc.

It's wet but warm in Canterbury as I type having just returned from getting this week's Radio Times. One thing that caught my eye was Craig Charles's Funk and Soul show on
6 Music where this week Koop will be coming in from Sweden to do a live session. It will be interesting how this turns out as they tend to rely on full orchestral sounds for their music so that will definitely be worth a listen.
And of course it's the Glastonbury weekend so I may have a gander at that as well even if the Wurzels have called off their set after being unhappy with the stage they've been put on.

I've never been a big person for going to music festivals on this scale as I'd never agree with others on who I'd want to see and the whole thing for me would end up being a solitary situation as in most scenarios of a similar nature. It may be an idea to go to a Solar all-dayer in my final year at Uni when things get a bit less stressfull.
