The final episode of Doctor Who wasn't really as exciting as the ones from the last two series but very entertaining with the departure of Martha as a companion and as always
a witty ending opening up to what looks set to be another superb Christmas episode.
One of my favourite parts being where it revealed what was inside the metal spheres; what looked like the face of Davros but with the voice of C3PO.
The ending was spoiled a tiny bit however when my younger brother immediately rushed upstairs to my room asking me if I had the second series on DVD. Overall though, it's one of my aims to buy that and the current series when that's finally released before Christmas.
My aural journey is taking a diversion of some sort as I'm having a listen back to the final two shows done by the lovely Sandra C at Solar Radio back in January.
Her departure was because Solar were moving studios which were of too far a distance to be travelling from Essex early on a Sunday morning so rather than taking the option to continue her show in a pre-recorded form, she took the option to leave on a high.
She still makes occasional appearances on the guest DJ slot now and again on Solar, and her delightful charm blended in with the music really gave me the confidence to have a go at doing the same thing myself.
A great music show on radio of any genre normally involves someone who can sound knowledgable about music with passion without sounding arrogant. People such as Sandra, and Stephen at Grooveline have given me more an idea of how it should be done in comparison to when I started presenting and my voice sounded like Mo Dutta!
If you've heard him on Radio 2 then it's not the nicest thing to be waking up to.

Would you believe that series of the Doctor just started here? We are so behind (except in Neighbours and Home and Away... and the Princess Diana concert which is showing tonight).
I'm actually writing a review of the first episode of Doctor Who for a new segment I am doing back on community radio called "TV on the Radio". It's a snarky review segment on one of my friends shows.
Hope you are well and enjoying your summer Mr Blamires!
I'd avoid looking at this site then as it's got quite a few spoilers!
