Reminscing Redcorated

I'm rather nervous but hopeful about my interview this coming Tuesday but if succesfull it will mean that I won't have such a journey to go to work. To be honest whenever I go past the nearby bus station it always reminds me of getting one of them to ASDA although around the time I started my HND course I gave it up in order to cut costs as I was saving for the payment for the New York visit that the college had organised.
Now there's a thought. I'd love to go travelling or on a short holiday with a few mates from Uni at the end of the year so that may be a good excuse to start saving.

One of my often visited sites has had a really nice redesign, The BBC Programme Catalogue has got a neater looking and easier to use site which has been useful for me in pinpointing random times at an earlier age.
And how about this for patronising? The infamous announcement made by then future BBC 1 controller Lorraine Heggesy about Richard Bacon's sacking broadcast before Blue Peter in October 1998. It would be even better if they showed the CBBC ident preceeding it which was rather amusing in contrast although it does show Kirsten O'Brien introducing the said programme as if nothing had taken place.

On a similar note I found this previously unbroadcast footage from The Generation Game where Zippy and George from Rainbow are reunited with host Jim Davidson for more effing and blinding and a few digs at the outgoing BP presenter.
As much as I dislike the comedian it's difficult not to laugh at this exchange.
