Slightly overcast but warm enough for the windows to be opened throughout most of today.
Earlier this evening we popped over to Concha and Martin's house and it was good to see them again, the first time I've seen them after I brought my glasses so it's been quite a while now.
Dad and Martin had a bit of a chat about their memories of Whistle Test and how it really was event television back in those days. Once again the DVDs of the series released by the BBC are a must for any music fan.
Tonight's Doctor Who must have been a nightmare for the props department with a story involving gargoyles who could transport people back in time but they didn't actually move. Instead they changed postion every few seconds whenever there was no light in the room they were in.
The episode also made me look very stupid as I finally managed to work out why the hidden features on DVD are called Easter Eggs.
One of the best I know of happens to be the full version of "Free Love Freeway" on Series 1 of the Office, which later ended up being recorded in the studio with Noel Gallagher on backing vocals which actually turned out to be very good!
A more imaganitve one was on Dead Man's Shoes and a first take of the commentary where Shane Meadows and Paddy Considine weren't happy with their ramblings so they started again!
Ideal ways of killing time.
