Avoiding The Mudbaths

So Glastonbury has kicked off with a rather big line up although if I'm being perfectly honest, there aren't any acts that would make me think "wow they're performing".
However I was interested to see one of our own Westminster success stories Uncle Buck on the billing who have a slot tonight at the East Dance Stage.
They're a duo made up of two commercial music students Seb and Alex, who have just completed their final year and used to live with the famous Joey Haddow.

Their presence on campus this year has been pretty quiet however although I'm not surprised considering the lack of support that the UWSU gave them. You'd think that after the success of the Fono end of termer in April last year that they would give the boys a night for Freshers but no, they apparently "forgot".
But anyway that's behind them now and the duo seem to be travelling all over the world with their blending of dance and indie-rock.

I'm really hoping that the Undercroft and Area get their act together this year as last year's promotions and events (with the exception of a few radio related record breakers) were disastrous. But at the end of the day I'm more or less happy with the surroundings and at least Monday nights are covered.
