"Not A Problem I Can't Fix"

Listening back to all these shows are actually very enlightening from a music point of view. Whilst being entertaining at the same time especially with scallywags such as
Seb and Jon who introduced a much hyped/short lived feature to their show with the imaginitively titled "10 Minute Mix".

The basic premise was that each week either Seb or Jon would put together a mix of tunes from a particular genre and one week Jon managed to put together a really nice selection of reggae tunes including dub covers of "Ring My Bell" by Anita Ward and "Song 2" by Blur.
I may need to e-mail him to see if he knows the about artists behind them.
Seb's one was a mixture of hip-hop and soul which sounded pretty slick until the CD starting skipping and mistracking live on air resulting in plenty of taunts from Jon!

Luckily all the hard work paid off at the awards last month when the duo won a bronze mic for "Best Specialist Production".

Another rather amusing show was Ina's 80s Team which she used to present with the lovely Cat who left the radio course halfway through the autumn semester.
This resulted in several guests making an appearance on the show including
Ina's Australian husband Simon, where they struggled to keep a straight face when talking about "My Little Ponies"! Simon also ended up being the competition winner for our Retro Room show later on in the year where he admited that he didn't know a lot about the silent movie actor "Charlie Chapman".
