Rewarding Creativity

Just before tonight's ISIHAC on Radio 4, I found out that Michael Rosen has become the new Children's Laureate taking over from Jaqueline Wilson. Whilst the author/poet has plenty to his bow, the item felt the need to relate to his chidren's book based on the song "We're Going On A Bear Hunt" which epitomises the worst possible scenario around a camp fire.
Apart from having it extinguished by the fire brigade and almost being run over by the police as it was not long ago at Harrow Halls.

Just under a year ago I found a clip of the author adlibbing some poems with Nobby The Sheep on ITV's Ghost Train in 1991 and from that clip alone it goes to show the title couldn't have gone to anyone else. However I reckon I need to be the reverse of what the poet and the ewe are doing in that clip and a visit to Center Parcs would be an ideal holiday considering that we're not going abroad this year.

It wasn't the only Saturday Morning show to visit that particular venue as three years earlier Going Live! did the whole show from the nicely shaded swimming pool where the guests included none other than Sylvester McCoy in full timelord apparel.
I'd imagine that around the time Trevor and Simon hadn't thought of a name for what would eventually become The Singing Corner!
