"Flaming June"

The second blaze this month on the Harrow Campus took place last night, this time in the building itself. I've seen a few photos posted on Facebook although from what it seems it's not too fatal and the building will be re-opening on Monday.
M-Block doesn't seem to be badly affected as the stream for Smoke Radio appears to connect with no problems at all even if there isn't actually any music being broadcast!

Whilst it's nice to be back in Canterbury I'm starting to become rather worried that I may be distancing myself from everyone back in London which I'm fearing will result in me being left out of the running when Freshers Week arrives and Smoke Radio goes back on air. I know the third year is vital but I really don't want to get demoted and just left to fade quietly as I get the sense that the current management team want to get rid of some of the soon to be third years. Then again those who thought they would be in the position to do didn't get the much saught after programming roles, so it probably won't be as bad as I presume will be.

It's also a case of time management as last year I tended to wake up at around 6am to start writing essays and critical reports, sometimes even making rather treacherous visits to the library as it was how I tended of getting things out of the way rather than leaving them hanging until the last minute. With the dissertation in full flow it may mean doing the same thing every morning but I'm confident I can get the balance right between assignments and alcohol.

I just like to be kept in the picture as to what's going on and not have decisions made behind my back although in proper radio that's what tends to happen.
I've just got to be more relaxed and not worry about things that I'm not responsible for.
