I'm always open to hear others talk about their own passions and earlier today I came across this video blog post from StephenH about his love for Irn Bru, (about 4 minutes in) a drink that I haven't drunk for quite a long time. Being a Scotsman himself it's not too surprising although I tend to associate the drink with the rather amusing advertisements made for it in the early 90s such as this one sending up Coca Cola spot on.
I can also remember when they used to make Irn Bru candy bars which were very popular about 10 years ago and it was difficult to avoid seeing one within the classroom.
Possibly one to buy and mix with the stronger stuff when I get back to London.
One of the other entertaining video blogs that help me to kill time come from Ross T giving me and many others an idea of what's going on with him back in Harrow and his continuing search for the ideal man.
The sad thing about these videos is that I've realised both of us have quite a few things in common! It's when he explains the reason for putting the video posts up which is more or less the same for this site overall as it allows me to learn a bit more of myself as a person as I'm dreadfully self concious.
Whether I've watched on of his blog posts from end to end is another story!
