Unapacked And Unplugged

I left Harrow Halls at around 6am this morning saying goodbye to flatmates Jess and Hariet along the way. The timing was spot on because the minute I walked out of the flat, the fire alarms went off for the second time that night. As I was giving my keys in at reception the porter was just stood static as if bugger all was happening so I legged it to the tube station.

I found out at the Undercroft yesterday that Hariet had actually aqquired all the music that was coming out of her flat yesterday from none other than Phoebe, a fellow 1st year CMP student and co-presenter of the Dry Ice chillout show. If I was the one organising the awards I would have definitely given them the prize of best female specialist newcomers but then again I'm musically biased.
Anyway, that's beside the point.

I was very sleepy on both the tube and the train journey home, luckily waking up at the right stops I had to change at. As soon as I got home I ended up falling asleep for most of the day waking up at around 4:30pm. I immediately made a start on unpacking everything and it looks as if most of my property made it back safely. The only thing I haven't managed to find amongst the clutter is my mobile phone charger although I've borrowed my sisters in the short term whilst she's in America until mid August.

And things are almost sorted out with one tiny exception; we've had a log-in key added to our wireless internet connection since my last visit and as Mum and Dad are in France with my mums sister and her husband, I'm resorting to using the rather bulky machine in the low temperature cellar with the yellow tinged monitor. Hopefully they'll return soon and I won't end up getting pnuemonia throughout the summer.
