It's been rather mixed throughout the day although at the moment it's pretty clear with my room being rather chilled as a result of leaving the windows open for most of today. Mum and Dad have gone over to play card games at one of our neighbour's houses leaving me to make sure that tonight's Big Brother eviction is recorded.
Whilst I didn't feel the temptation to see who got thrown out, I did watch the first in the new series of 8 Out Of 10 Cats making a welcome return to the screen. This series saw the arrival of new team captain Jason Manford but the show's more or less the same and not even a weak set of guests including Johnny Vegas and Prick Reeves could ruin proceedings.
Tonight's show included gags about Paris Hilton's return to jail and George Bush losing his watch which 85% of the audience would rather sell on Ebay than return it to the president.
Definitely one of the more entertaining shows on offer during the warmer months.
Whilst I'm pretty content with things I only found out this morning that my credit card payment was deducted from my bank account last week so I'm just a little bit more skint than I thought. I'd best sort out a budget plan for the third year in case I don't get a job for the summer which is becoming more and more likely. The way I see it, I'll probably be more succesfull if I return to Canterbury permanatley after my degree as it will be a long term position I'll be looking for. However I'm going to keep going with my belief that passion pays off and am not going to let anything or anyone get me down whilst I'm still here.
