This is something I've been searching for years.
Courtesy of a balls-ups show with Roy Walker, from Challenge,
Phillip Schofield's finest hour on Going Live! when dealing with a rather timid
but overall dim caller who can't seem to be able to put into a sentence
that Phillip has got the wrong number.
The moment itself can be seen at 4:25 although it would have been better to have seen it all the way through just to hear how stupid the Duncan fella actually is.
The plus side however is that at around 4:50 we hear Schofe utter something that you really couldn't say on television at all in the present day
as a presenter, regardless what the viewers at home would be thinking.
It's still very funny however.
On that note it's only two days until Fern Britton leaves This Morning and
even now the replacement hasn't been officially announced.
I'm sure anyone reading this will know who I would want it to be, but lets say that as far as I'm aware, Davina McCall has not actually had any experience of presenting This Morning which proves that she's a no-hoper.
The team will have hopefully learnt their lesson from letting Twiggy present the show after Richard and Judy left, but then again the BBC don't seem to have learnt about past examples of how not to do it, if their current Saturday line up is anything to go by.
If only researchers and producers would do their homework before spending our money on disasters.
