No Place To Chill?

Not a great deal happening today.

I'm doing the cooking later where I plan to make a "fus bol" if you can call it that with expensive fusilli pasta and mince.

This morning's Chris Moyles Show came from 'Ull and the studios of BBC Radio Humberside following last night's Karaoke but the live video streaming continued albeit in slightly more grainy picture quality.

It's the last one tomorrow that will be video streamed and my last show for at least 3 months as a listener, as I plan to continue writing my own "University Biography" which I've been going on about an awful lot but I'm hoping it will be worth it in the end.

As for the rest of tonight it's Mock The Week once again where this week's guests include Australian comic Adam Hills, and Northern stand up Alun Cochrane who was one of the better comics that was on Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow.

That's the good news.

The bad news is that Chill have announced that they are to cease broadcasting on DAB in several areas of the country from next week including over here in the "Vandalised Garden Of England".

This is due to them being yet another victim of the current economic conditions and I am gutted. It probably raises the issue if it's any point owning a DAB radio anymore.

Well in Canterbury anyway.

There's still the option of having my computer switched on with it coming out of my speaker as Chill will still be continung online but it isn't really the same as having the option of it being their just to switch on and tune into it instantly.

I'll see what can be done about moving back to London if at all possible as although a lot of the radio was down the plughole, if I didn't like what Jazz FM were playing I could listen to Chill, and vice versa.

Then again there's still the full CD wallets and external hard drives that will provide entertainment for the time being.
