It really was worth the wait if the first episode of Mock The Week series 7
was anything to go by.
I won't give away any of the jokes in case anyone reading hasn't seen it
but all the regular panellists were on top form and guest Gina Yashere
looked pretty delightful.
It turns out that it's not just Dara who's lost weight.
Frank Skinner wasn't too bad either, although at times it did look as if he was trying a bit too hard.
Although the programme's still popular, I wouldn't want to see it following in the footsteps of HIGNFY and Qi by moving to BBC 1, mainly because there's a high chance they would cut all the fucks out of the programme.
Which luckily they haven't.
The fact that there's still 11 shows left proves that there won't be any excuse no laughter during the warmer months and here's hoping there's a return appearance for panellists such as David Mitchell and Michael McIntyre in the coming weeks.
Mitchell and Webb this week wasn't so good but according to David's Twitter updates, they're currently filming the latest series of Peep Show due to hit our screens this Autumn.
And that really has been a long time coming.
