"Where The Stallion Meets The Sun"

The final hour of The Chris Moyles Show this morning was devoted entirely to the highlights of Take That's final night at Wembley Stadium and if it sounded as good as it did on the radio, then goodness knows how impressive the visuals were, that everyone seems to be talking about.

The setlist included a well sorted selection of current and classic tunes from the Manchester lads with my overall highlight being a medley of their really early stuff consisting of "Do What U Like", "Promises", "It Only Takes A Minute" and the title track of their debut album "Take That And Party".

It was impossible for me not to know the words of their most popular tunes such as "Back For Good", "Rule The World", and "Shine", and there was a brilliant rendition of their 1993 number 1 "Relight My Fire" which was done more in the style of the Dan Hartman original with a superb unknown female soloist halfway through doing Lulu's part.

And she could belt it out better than the Scotswoman.

I am definitely making sure I finally get to see the boys, next time they tour as it's been far too long.

Out of those I know from Uni who went, were my third year flatmate Michael who does TV, and second year radio student Keeley who both seemed to enjoy the night when they went earlier this week.

As planned I made my visit to the Job Centre where the whole process didn't take that long at all, but I've still been searching and have applied for a job at a local estate agent as an admin assistant.

I doubt it will lead to much but it's difficult to get enthusiastic about jobs that I don't want to be doing for the rest of my life.

I know I shouldn't really look at it from this perspective, but now that I've applied, it's another chore done and off my mind.

Moving onwards, something I've been waiting to upload for quite a while since last Sunday, that being Peter Dixon's opening to the Jingleday event in Nottingham.

I happen to get mentioned at around 1.55 and it's not an innacurate description from the man who's voice is never off our screens.
Or our radios for that matter.

I've got to live with that.
