Further Celebrity Disposals

Pretty unproductive today, save for sorting the big pile of washing that's been in my basket for almost a week.

I'm now up to Series 8 of Room 101 where by now, Paul Merton had abandoned the heavilly scripted intro "Supposing you had the chance to get rid of your worst nightmares" etc.

So far the guests I've seen have included Ronan Keating who wanted to get rid of entourages, rude people and miming, due to Ronan and Boyzone's insistence of always singing live on televsion and rightly so.

Ronan managed to get all of his items in although for the last one, Paul Merton asked him to mime with him to the duet he'd originally done with Lulu, the Bob Seger cover "We've Got Tonight".

Ronan as you'd expect was rubbish at miming but Paul was hilarious miming to Lulu's part.

I also watched the late Linda Smith's episode for possibly the first time since the original broadcast where amongst her items included adults who read Harry Potter, Tim Henman, and comic opera and to an extent opera singers who sing pop songs.

Still to come in the series are Sean Lock, Ross Noble who wanted to dispose of Craig David and Christian Rock, and possibly one of the last TV appearances for Ron Atkinson before he messed up his career.

As for the rest of today, after hanging up my clothes I plan to listen to PY on Jazz FM after a break from last week where I didn't hear the show due to being at Lounge.

It's weird to think it's shot by since last week and the way things are going, Mum's birthday could be tomorrow.

Whatever happens it's likely I'll forget to buy a present on time.
