The Buddah In The Crown

The visit to London this afternoon was worth it, even though myself and Paul chatted for only an hour.

It was definitely enjoyable and interesting where Paul mentioned that apart from my blog post, no one else had commented on the Jinglemad forum about what they thought about the Nottingham event.

The site in my opinion really needs to get it's act together as it's all very well getting people like Sandy to give a superb talk like the one he did, but with a large amount of members on the site, you would expect a hell of a lot more people to turn up as opposed to the 15 or so that did.

The next event has to be held in London without question as it's been 3 years since the last one in that city, which has been especially disapointing considering I only attended one meet up during University.

Something else we mentioned was the article on Chris Moyles' "Who Do You Think You Are" in this week's Radio Times as a mate of Paul's took the photographs for the article and the front cover.

It was good to get an honest opinion and I'm hoping to meet up again later in the year, possibly at the Kings Arms which looks slightly more appealing than the Crown and is also not too far from Wise Buddah.

I made my way back to Victoria station via the Underground at around 6pm and having walked from Victoria to Oxford Circus, it was the right decision as it absolutely stank.

I got the 6:30 train for Canterbury in good timing and in time honoured tradition, it started bloody raining which always happens on a journey back to Canterbury by train.

Luckily for me (but possibly not for others) the electronic toilet doors weren't working, meaning I had to open the door by hand but it didn't result in any embarrassing consequences whilst in there.

What I will say is that you don't half get a load of stubborn passengers
on trains regardless of how old they are.

I'll hopefully have sense to move elsewhere provided that it's an empty carriage when I next end up travelling.
