Tonight's YHBW had the same conventions as the others in terms of being laugh out loud funny at times, but at others really revolting.
One such programme that fitted into the latter was "Inside Nature's Giants" which involved graphic depictions of animal autopsies. Again not to my taste.
The chat about the show provided the laughs however, especially when Charlie lashed out at the panellists for responding to the show negatively, although guest Frankie Boyle's response to Charlie wanting to see elephants also had me laughing.
One of the other programmes looked at was the Got Talent franchise and how it can be just as revolting in other territories such as Russia which involved a man drilling into his brain.
Again I couldn't look at it myself although if Nick Hell was anything to go by in the last series of BGT, I doubt we'll have seen the last of the extreme acts.
My favourite part however had to be in the final round at the end when Charlie asked the question;
Charlie Brooker: "How did Danny Dyer injure his jaw?"
BUZZ
Frankie Boyle: "By talking like a c**t"
It won't be the last we hear of the Scotch comedian this week as MTW's back on Thursday although the guest line up doesn't look as good.
As for tomorrow, more audio rummaging I guess.
