A rather miserable start to the week if outside is anything to go by.
It can only get worse when the Job Centre meeting arrives on Wednesday.
This morning I watched the first of the final week's video streaming on the Chris Moyles Show where they had Peter Jones from Dragon's Den as a guest and Dave pitched his idea of a cooking utensil known as "the Peter Pan".
From what I gather it will also be the final week they'll be doing Chegger's Pop Quiz as Chris mentioned that today is the "last Monday" they'll be doing it on, and they'll be on holiday again next week which fits in nicely as I plan to take an even longer break from the show as mentioned yesterday.
I've never really been able to listen to the programme continuously for more than a year and whenever I take a break and start listening after 6 months or a year it sounds as if it's all picked up.
Ken Bruce is also on holiday next week on his Radio 2 show, so Zoe Ball will be stepping in again and of course taking charge of Popmaster.
This morning's G2 supplement focuses on comedy and includes interviews with people such as Russell Kane, Charlie Brooker and Barry Cryer amongst others.
In true supplement style theres a "What's Hot And What's Not" gauge on the first page where stand up television shows such as Apollo and Stewart Lee are at the top, whilst at the bottom are sketch shows with Horne and Corden being the worst offenders.
There's also a section where comedians such as Sarah Millican, Omid Djalili and David O'Doherty are interviewed about their worst ever stand up gigs.
Another interviewee was Stephen K. Amos who's one of my favourites although I doubt anything could be more embarrassing than appearing as a O/B presenter on Totally Saturday.
And there's a list of the top 10 comedy podcasts which includes Collings and Herrin from Andrew Collins and Richard Herring, with Adam and Joe's 6 Music podcast at number 1.
Tonight comedy wise (in a loose sense) will be the return of Just A Minute on BBC Radio 4 although I may give it a miss as the panel doesn't look too good, especially with the absence of Paul Merton where in his place are Tim Rice, the ever smug Tony Hawks, the unfunny Sue Perkins, and Pam Ayres which pretty much states the case to avoid.
I doubt Clement Freud would be impressed.
