Further Tracing

Tonight's Who Do You Think You Are with Chris Moyles as the subject was far from an ego trip into the man himself.
This was a well made look into the traces of his relatives from his Irish mother and his father who had Irish parents.

I'm guessing the programme was shot nearly a year ago as in the studio shots right at the beginning they were playing the August 2007 jingles that were in use until last December.

Overall it was an interesting journey that took the radio presenter from Dublin to West Ireland, and all the way to Ypres in Belgium where his great grandfather fought in the battlefields during the first World War and managed to show a softer side to the usually outspoken broadcaster.

The only other episode in the current series that take my interest is the one with David Mitchell, although I won't have to wait too long to hear him as he's been on Desert Island Discs this week which is being repeated on Friday morning.

Tomorrow I need to sort out a doctor's appointment in order to get a prescription for my medication and sort out for cooking although with Dad at WOMAD this weekend it will just be me and Jo.

I'll probably be required to do more than my fair share of cooking during this time which I wouldn't complain about.

Good Night.
