I've returned from Morrisons only to find one of the kitchen shelves full of empty cans of Fosters.
This probably suggests that Olly had a few people round last night but I wouldn't have noticed as I can barely hear that much from upstairs in my room on the top floor.
I'm rather weary about tomorrow's focus group as I seem to get the idea that there is a specific way of doing one. Or at least that's what some of the lecturers have said.
However I'm just going to keep it as easy as possible and hopefully get enough responses to what I want to find out whilst making sure they're relevant.
I'd best get round to writing a few questions to ask, possibly ones that are similar but slightly more advanced than the ones on my survey.
However because of the poor explanation of the task and my overall misunderstanding I know it's all going to go balls up and it will be four years wasted, just because of some ridiculous and once again poncey theory assignment.
I'm sure I'll be more relaxed when I re-read a few more dissertations in the library, although my only problem is that I haven't arranged any interviews and am solely using surveys and focus groups as my primary research.
I wish the lecturers here would accept that a lot of us don't really know how complicated a dissertation is in comparison to an essay, and that they would spend more time giving us an idea of what to expect, rather than throwing us in the deep end at the beginning of the third year.
That was one of the reasons why I had to go home at the start of what was meant to be my third year and it came across that Matthew, and Maria Way tried to throw me in at the deep end again when I returned.
I'm apologise if that wasn't the intention, but I'm afraid that's how it came across to me.
It's more or less resulted in me losing a bit of respect for them, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels the same, even if it is for different reasons.
There's too many staff at University trying to do us from behind, and it's coming very close to the physical sense.
