Just about to sort out the remains of last night's mince, with some freshly boiled bows.
Before that I had another rummage, this time from a VHS recorded in August 2003 which included the end of an edition of "The Vault" hosted by Melanie Sykes, where an 18 year old soon to be student from Liverpool managed to win £700,000 for saying that an "Arctophile" collects teddybears.
As it happened so quickly it resulted a lot of high pitched screaming for about a minute from both the winning contestant and Mel.
During the credits I noticed that the floor manager for the show was Ben Munday-Chanin, better known as Baby Ben who did a similar role on the Big Breakfast, and was regularly sent up to the Steps Of Woe.
Following on from the "amazing victory" was a special edition of Stars In Their Eyes and the first one to be presented by Matthew Kelly since he was cleared of criminal charges earlier in the year.
It was an "I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here" special where one of the contestants was John Fashanu, who's rather flat rendition of Otis Redding's "Dock Of The Bay" inspired that hilarious Ant & Dec Undercover stunt a year later.
If there's one version of that song that's second to none, it has to be
Al Jarreau's from his 1978 album "All Fly Home".
Other ex jungle inhabitants taking part included Toyah Wilcox who when stood next to Matthew looked really tiny. Her turn involved her taking off her hero Patti Smith.
There was also Sian Lloyd who despite being Welsh says that she's a really bad singer so she impersonated Deborah Strickland from the Flying Lizards with "Money (That's What I Want)", while the overall winner was "Crapalina" Guirado who transformed into Blondie, performing "Sunday Girl".
More trawling may take place tonight after Ant & Dec, which doesn't really look that exciting as it's just a case of rounding off really tired items that have been strung out throughout the series such as the "Takeaway Prison" and "Ant Vs Dec - The Teams".
Zac Efron's the guest announcer which proves they really are sinking low in terms of guests, and they're bringing back the Toadstool game in "Grab The Ads" which is at least better than that dreadful Sheep Dip game.
It may be the ideal time for the show to be finally laid to rest, especially as it's exactly 10 years and 1 day since Noel's House Party made it's bow.
Expect a few more posts tonight, including the second of this weekend's "Heart Attack" posts.
