It's been quite a rollercoaster this afternoon in many senses. One of them being the brief but sudden downpour this afternoon which resulted in a missed video opportunity as a few CMP students filming on the courtyard had to hastily take down their equipment and bring it inside.
Whether it's still working is another story.
In order to get away from the chaos in RP1 where the first years were distracted from or mucking about having completed their features, I went for a drink (a soft one of course) at the Undercroft with Phil H and Sami who made a rare visit back.
She was wearing the same clothes as last time however which was the black top she wore at Phil's birthday party last weekend. Hopefully by the time we hand in our dissertations she'll turn back into a rainbow again.
However I found out a few things about the summer broadcast due to take place on the week beginning the 18th of May, and a rather shocking revelation that this year's awards would be taking place on a Wednesday, in order to host an Area night later in the week.
If I had been drinking it would have resulted in me spitting out my orange Fanta as to have it on a Wednesday would mean that I wouldn't have a show and there would be no way I would pre-rec it as it will be my last one for the station.
I then went back up to the radio rooms where it was a lot quieter and went up to Alice and politely asked her what was happenening, but was told not to worry about anything as she told me that she would make sure I would have a final two hour show that week, and the actual night of the awards hadn't been confirmed just yet.
That's made me feel slightly better and all I need to worry about for now is getting the dissertation done which is exactly one month away.
I'm having my final meeting this semester with Anastasia on Wednesday so I'll probably lose even more stone as a result.
I should have actually done that module last year as it would have meant I'd have lost weight a lot quicker, although oddly enough Sami said to me earlier that she liked me better when I was "plumper".
However one person who will definitely be staying here for longer than us will be Phil Landers, as he has to retake a few theory modules meaning that he won't be graduating with us, I mean them, in November.
Once again, it couldn't have happened to a nicer man.
And as many will suggest, the nicest man on the radio course.
Although tomorrow I'm meeting Joey in Central London and it's quite a achievable to still be in touch with one of the people from the year above me, whereas I barely speak to anyone from my old year.
I'd love to meet up with people like Ross Powell and Paul Calvert again as they really were a good laugh and with Paul especially we could talk for ages about music over a few drinks.
As for tonight, probably some more trawling and my final Monday night visit to the Underpants this semester.
