Getting And And Going: Back To Bed

Morning.

Last night was well spent with the Dara O'Briain episode of Apollo which probably is the funniest one ever in terms of all the comedians performing.
Stephen K Amos was superb with several jokes about black stereotypes although my favourite line was one about his primary school teacher being
"a jack of all trades, and a master of fuck all"

Frankie Boyle as you'd expect was hilarious to the point of me having to push the pause button in order to recover from laughing at the previous joke before going on to the next.

As mentioned last time round the joke about the electronic train doors is genius and actually had me in tears, although you'd think why National Rail decided to waste so much money, as the instructions aren't really explained well and it can result in embarrassing consequences.

I also liked the joke about someone going up to him and saying he looked like "the wee bear off 'Bo Selecta'".

I wish they had kept the text messages at the end of the show in the last series although quite a lot of the comedians in the 2007 series always ended up doing the "Where's Jack Dee, from Jack Dee" joke.

Getting up isn't easy at all as I haven't got my Bug with me and my Freesat TV doesn't have Chill as one of their channels which is what I normally have on overnight.
I would have 5 Live switched on but Dotun Adebayo was presenting last night so that was out of the question.

However because I don't have the Bug it means I have to get out of my bed to swtich over the channel to listen to Chris Moyles before getting back into bed and listening to it half asleep, always falling asleep completely whenever he plays a record.

Speaking of getting up, I've managed to find an application of an MP3 alarm clock although it only really works properly once you've registered.
It allows you to use any MP3 file at all, although rather than a song, I've used one of the many sound effects I have on my hard drive and I'm pretty certain you can guess which one!

After this morning's Popmaster I hope to make a start on my background chapter with the aim of reaching 500 or more words. It shouldn't be too much of a struggle.
