"I've Done A Radio Course By Mistake"

Tonight's drinking with Joey went well, where we stopped off in a rather nice relaxed pub in St Johns Wood. We chatted about all sorts of things such as pointless shows on satellite television with one example being David and Therese from Dollar going into plastic surgery.

You wonder what idiot would think people would want to see such a thing.

Things could also be looking rather promising in the next couple of months,
I won't say anything at this time but it sounds pretty good.

The plan for the rest of tonight will be sitting back and enjoying a classic student favourite, that being Withnail and I which is more or less a required film to watch at this sort of age or possibly younger.

It could be a prophecy as to the sort of living conditions I could end up in future if I'm not so lucky.

I should clear up a point made earlier today about "close circles" as such instances like the Student Radio conference last year weren't intended to make me feel left out at all.

However there's some sorts of humour I don't understand and I make sure I never refer to private jokes in the space of others, unless I explain it to them afterwards of course.

That could be more or less my own problem after watching "Withnail" as I know of some people who haven't seen the film and won't get any references.

More or less reminds me about this send up of The Wire which is quite relevant as it will be starting on BBC 2 next week in a nightly slot after Newsnight.

It may become required viewing actually although Dad has the first series on DVD.
