Well, there is some good news out of this episode, and that is the postponed focus group will be taking place next Thursday.
I had a chat to Dad back at home in Canterbury who told me that he had a really good piece of recording equipment that probably works in the same way as a Marantz as it uses some sort of memory storage but I'm keeping the Marantz in my flat until the original due date.
I actually might bring it back to Canterbury with me tomorrow in case I get any focus groups done between then and Thursday which be the ideal thing to do in order to get them out of the way. And the transcribing.
Perhaps I was a bit heavy handed in my comments about the senior radio lecturer in my last post as the really good thing he did was let me stay on for another year to complete the Advanced Radio module and gave me really good comments on my feature.
However I'm not going to be the goody two shoes in this situation,
as I'm sticking on the same frame of mind as all the other students who aren't happy about the issue, as at times like this we're more or less on the same boat as each other regardless of any other issues.
As mentioned before the likes, of Chris, Phil, and Denis etc have ended up being really good friends in the last year and they really want to get this assignment done as much as I do.
If I had gone back to Canterbury today I would be even more furious.
