It's rather hard, but I've more or less ended up in the position of having to postpone tomorrow's planned research session for my dissertation as it's practically impossible to get anyone involved, especially as most of the second years are still in lectures.
I may ring home and ask if it would be possible for me to re-arrange my appointment at Laurel House on Monday because it's absolutely vital that I get my dissertation stuff done as soon as I can.
I wouldn't want to ring now though as it would be rude to stop them watching The Apprentice and to let them know afterwards would be the right idea.
Asides that, I'm feeling a tiny bit bad for some of the snide to the point of upsetting comments I made up in the radio rooms earlier whilst everyone was stressing over their web pages that are due in tomorrow.
This could result in losing quite a lot of trust, and it would be really bad thing to happen at this point of my time here.
There will always be stupid in jokes with certain people here but the best way to avoid that is not to go to places like the Undercroft or the Junction when you know it's going to be a crap night.
I shouldn't let what's happened in the past when I found it hard to get to know people, get in the way of how superb things are now.
I think the Specials song is very relevant;
"Enjoy Yourself, While You're Still In The Pink"
