Moyles has been pretty good this morning with an interview with Nick Frost and Gemma Arteton from the much awaited film "The Boat That Rocked" that appears to be promoted much bigger than I thought it would be.
It's set in the 1960s and takes place on a pirate radio station where Frost plays one of the DJs on board along with other cast members including Rhys Ifans, Ralph Brown who was in "Withnail and I" as Danny, and Chris O'Dowd.
There's also an appearance from Stephen Moore as the Prime Minister, the actor probably best known for playing Kevin's dad in Harry Enfield and Chums as well as Harmony Parker's dad in the CBBC dramatisation of "The Queen's Nose".
However one of our very own students at Westminster happens is said to have made a brief appearance in the film, that being first year TV student Dave Reed, one of the members of Smoke Radio's Chas And Dave show so that gives several of reasons to make sure that the film is a must watch this Easter.
Chris said he was planning a tour of all the locations in Shaun of The Dead and asking listeners to text in if they were interested.
A lot of listeners did as you'd expect and Vernon Kay even texted in, once again gloating about his brief appearance in the film, along with Krishnan Guru-Murphy.
At the moment they're doing the Golden Hour and I swear that the jingle used for the item sounds slightly similar to Skywave Cut 18 as used by Radio 1 in the late 80s.
It's the brass stabs that sound like each other.
On a lower note I had a version of that Skywave cut done five years ago which can be heard here. I'm not sure which is worse to be honest.
Chris has rejected Carrie's choice of Kym Mazelle's cover of "Young Hearts Run Free" from the Romeo And Juliet soundtrack which to be fair is pretty bad.
I've always thought the beginning of that track sounds very similar to the theme tune to "Wogan" in the late 80s.
They've decided to play a record that in my opinion is even worse "The Key The Secret" by the Urban Cookie Collective.
You can't win either way.
