Unfair Orders

My inital thoughts for my next post have been abandoned because Matthew has just sent out an e-mail to the third years and which really is taking the piss.

It was sent today at 1:15pm and asked any of us who have loaned Marantz recorders out over Easter to return them by the end of today and swap them for MD recorders, as it's stopping other students from borrowing them.

I have to say that in this case, it's just bang out of order because a lot of
third years are either in lectures, at work, or carrying out interviews and that's too fucking soon to ask us.

It doesn't help that the equipment store will be closed over Easter from next week and for me it's just added to the problems responsible by that particular lecturer who I'm afraid I've lost quite a lot of respect for.

Unlike most of the other students I'm in a ready position to return my Marantz but because I don't know if Hasan's buggered about with the opening times of the store, I'm staying on everyone else's side and am refusing to return my Marantz until the agreed time it's due in.

I don't care if it costs me marks on my degree, because I'm away in Canterbury for around two weeks until after Easter and none of the mini disc recorders come with line in cables so that makes it impossible for me to transfer my audio over, and the rewind and fast forward functions on an MD player are a bastard to use.

This course has let me down in many ways for too long and it's finally time to revolt.

Time is short and I'm not letting any inconviniences get in the way.
